Why should I become a Member of the East Village Seniors Association?
If you want a voice within your community, you'll find there's strength in numbers.
As members of the East Village Seniors Association, our goal is to be the voice and representative of seniors living in Calgary's East Village, working together to improve their quality of life.
If you are wondering what services are available to you as a senior in the East Village or want to help improve the services already available, we as an association strive to work with service providers to make the programs in our community more focused on what seniors need.
Lastly, the Seniors Association works with local businesses to create discounts for seniors of the East Village, helping them enjoy things in life at an affordable price.
Is there a fee associated with becoming a member?
Yes, there is a $2 fee for becoming a member. Once you enroll with the EVSA, you're a member for life.
What does the fee get me?
By paying the fee, you are officially a member of the East Village Seniors Association. This means you will get a membership card which you can show at participating businesses for discounts and deals. You can also look forward to being a voice for seniors in the East Village.

I own a business in the East Village how do I become a Sponsor of the East Village Seniors Association?
The first step to becoming a sponsor for our association is to fill out the registration form below. It can be filled out and submitted to us online, or you can print off the form and send it to us via mail. Once we have received the form, we will contact you to get started.
What is my obligation as a sponsor?
Your involvement as a sponsor of the East Village Seniors Association can be as much or as little as you would like. The only thing we ask is that, as a company, you offer some kind of a discount to your business for the members of the association.
How will I know if a senior is a member of the EVSA?
Each member is given a membership card that they are required to show at participating businesses. Your staff will be given a copy, so they know what the membership card looks like.
How does becoming a Sponsor benefit me as a business owner?
The senior community in the East Village is a large group of potential customers. If you give a discount to our association, it is more likely that our seniors will visit your business instead of your competitor's since they will be saving money.
